The right of the individual and individual responsibilities

Right of an individual is the freedom to pursue life and goals without interference from society and government. The main two group of rights are personal right and political rights. Personal rights allow people to live freely as long as they don’t interfere with other people’s right. Political rights on the other hand allow people to participate in the political process. Some examples of personal rights are:- • Freedom of speech • Freedom of discrimination • Right to own property Example of political rights are:- • Freedom of press • Right to assemble • Right to equal protection under law. But rights do not come free of charge with rights come responsibilities or otherwise things an individual mist do. But just like rights are types of responsibilities. Main group of responsibilities are personal responsibilities and social responsibilities. Personal duties/responsibilities means things an individual l have to do by themselves. These include jury duty, paying taxes, obeying laws, getting education etc. social responsibilities as the name suggests involves a society instead of an individual. Some examples of social responsibly are staying informed, registering to vote, protecting public safety, speaking your mind etc.
